On a recent trip to London I was able to visit the 'collect' exhibition at Somerset house. It was a very inspiring trip where I was able to view a large and diverse range of work by a variety of artist and makers form all over the world. The pieces of work i was able to see included paintings, ceramics and stitch work. I was especially pleased to see pieces by Alice Kettle, who is an artist that has inspired me for many years.
Although pictures can never do justice to the actual work, here are a few that I took whilst there.
